The manage portal

Where you run your community on TeamALA: what each page shows and who can use it.

Where it is

The manage portal is at manage.teamala.org. Sign in with Roblox. If you run one community, you go straight to it. If you run more, you pick one first.

Owners, managers and members

  • Owners can do everything in their community. They are set when the community is made.
  • Managers can see and change most things, like rules for members. They can't change who the owners and managers are.
  • Members can only see their own access, so they know what they can use.

The portal only shows what you are allowed to use. If a page is missing, your role doesn't have it.

The pages

  • Overview: your Roblox group, your Discord server, the services that are on, and a way back to set up if you didn't finish. A Getting started list shows which first steps are done and which are still to do. You can do them in any order. The community bot says it is not added yet.
  • Your access: your own level, the rules that give it to you, and how fresh the Roblox information behind it is.
  • Access rules: who can use your community's tools, and at what level.
  • Services: switch a service on or off, and say who can use it.
  • Settings: your community's name, Roblox group, and which pictures people are shown with (Roblox or Discord). Owners can change them. Managers can only look.
  • Audit log: every change made to your community, newest first, with who made it. Staff from TeamALA show up as TeamALA staff.
  • Screening log: who looked up whom in the last 90 days, if screening is on.

Safety built in

  • Every change is written to the audit log, so nothing happens in secret.
  • A community always keeps at least one owner. The last owner can't be removed.
  • A community that is suspended or leaving can still be looked at, but it can't be changed.
